
Optimizor, IT services company, part of Bittnet Group, has seen a 35% increase in revenue and a 50% increase in operating profit in 2022
Optimizor, part of Bittnet Group, specialised in delivering managed and integrated IT services and advising on the implementation of digital and disruptive technologies, has seen revenue growth of over 35% in 2022, an increase in operating margin of almost 100% and operating profit of 50%. Optimizor thus reached a turnover of 7,477,821 lei, a net profit of 1,800,000 lei and an ebitda margin of 28.67%, for the previous year. In addition, in 2022 Optimizor doubled its customer portfolio comparable to 2021 and in the first quarter of 2023 the company has already signed four contracts with new customers.
According to Alexandru Ana, CEO and co-founder of Optimizor, the growth is driven by several factors, including both the business model, the continuous automation of delivery processes, the markets where Optimizor services are distributed and the demand for consulting and support services against the backdrop of the new tele-municipality structure from companies. “The increases are due to the expansion in the local market following the sustained effort to streamline the execution process and reduce the associated costs. As we manage to adapt our services for the Romanian market we will be an interesting option for many companies,” says Alexandru Ana, CEO and co-founder of Optimizor.
The continuous automation of the services delivered, a process that continues into 2023, brings numerous benefits to customers, explains Alexandru Ana, including both speed and quality of service. In recent months, the team has automated processes related to employee records (with a focus on the IT side), customer equipment management or monthly reporting of Optimizor services to customers. In 2022, Optimizor managed to reduce more than 5000 hours of human intervention through the automated processes implemented to customers.
One of Optimizor’s most important goals for 2023 is the launch of a platform aimed at small and medium-sized companies, a project in progress in which the company will incorporate expertise gained in foreign markets. The platform will contain a “self service” module whereby employees can make IT requests that are processed in an automated but controlled way. The platform will also provide small and medium sized companies with resources such as instructions to guide employees in their work or IT policies that include details on the impact that projects implemented by Optimizor have on the way companies/employees work. Also, the platform can include additional modules that manage employee leave days or annual appraisals.
With its customised working model and variety of solutions, the type of on-demand IT managed services that Optimizor offers to companies is an innovative, fast-response, cost-optimised system. It is also an adaptation and upgrade to a market where hiring, retaining and upgrading in-house IT specialists are real challenges for companies. Both in terms of costs and budgets allocated, including for ongoing training and in terms of time spent on solving technical problems.
